As time goes on, there are some things that stay but other things just can’t stay. One of these things that have come and gone is the popularity of the shopping center. If you asked someone born after the year 2000 what a mall was, they might not even have an answer for you.
For those who don’t know, a shopping center was somewhere you could go to get all the goods you needed without having to go to a dozen different places to get all those things. Of course, this idea was killed off when the idea of online shopping came into existence. Online shopping changed everything by making it easier to buy things from the comfort of your own home. Back then, people could only imagine a world where they could have everything they needed without having to leave their couch. Now, we have families that do all of their online shopping from their phones all while not having to get into their car. Shopping centers are now trying to find ways to bring themselves back to life by trying to incorporate new activities that can bring the people back.
